French. Italian?

Hey all, I decided to put both languages in the title. Currently, I'm dabbling in French.

*Smile,* I think I'd like to do more than dabble, but it is not coming as easy to me as when I tried out Italian a few years back.

I've been using a program from unforgettable languages, and for the most part, I quite like their approach.

There are no pictures so far! They do use your imagination though to remember words. I quite like this concept, because I use similar ideas in daily life. If not images, then I find myself using silly reminders on how to spell something.

Anyway, where I'm finding the drawback, is in pronounceation. I wish the course offered more french speakers.

I'm finding pronouncing french to be more challenging than pronouncing italian.

Any suggestions here? Websites, tips tricks, audio sources?

Lol, I even thought of a french tts, better than my eloquence.

Thanks all, I'm quite enjoying myself! I've always had the dream to speak another language. Maybe french will be that language!

Here's an example of the vocabulary imagery.

Hedgehog in French is herisson
Imagine you have a harry son.

Deep in French is profond
Imagine you have a deep profound thought.

I enjoy learning french, but for me it seems harder then italin due to some pronunciation and conjugation of verbs. Italian is much simpler to me, but I wish I could learn more of it in school.
